  and the responsibility of universities in times of rising fascist threats

 sk of Solidarity is an urban intervention project that brings solidarity p
 ractices into public space. Since 2023\, more than 30 initiatives have act
 ivated the kiosk over 50 times in Berlin and beyond\, creating spaces for 
 encounter\, mutual support\, protest\, and participation. The project ampl
 ifies the visibility of marginalized groups and connects them with broader
  networks of solidarity.\n\nIn the Kiosk of Solidarity seminar\, students 
 will collaborate with local initiatives in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main to
  co-produce kiosk activities\, contributing to design\, logistics\, docume
 ntation\, and public engagement. In 2026\, the project is part of the Worl
 d Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain program and works with initiatives in
  the Bahnhofsviertel district.\n\nReadings introduce key debates on solida
 rity in urban studies and the social sciences\, while participants critica
 lly reflect on the social and spatial impacts of projects like the kiosk.
