[1980s Neo-Fascism in British Cinema

This seminar session is part of the M.Ed. seminar “Teaching Film” and deals with Shane Meadows' 2006 film This Is England. In this session, we will discuss how the film portrays the rise of neonazi subcultures in 1980s Britain. We also discuss how films like This Is England can be used in secondary school teaching to explore the dynamics of right-wing youth subcultures.
