[Critical Sociology (in English)

In this session, the critical sociology of Pierre Bourdieu will be taken as a possible framework to understand class struggle and the rising popularity of far-right ideology among the working class. In particular, Didier Eribon’s „Return to Reims“ will be introduced as a narrative companion to Bourdieu’s sociology.
