[Features of Fashism (Research Lab Moral and Political Philosophy)

All interested members of the university are invited to a joint reading and discussion of Umberto Eco’s short classic essay „Ur-Fascism“ (1995). The text will serve as a starting point for discussing how fascistoid and anti-democratic tendencies can be recognised, analysed, and resisted today – and what specific responsibilities universities, scholars, and students have in defending democratic, pluralistic, and truth-oriented public life.
