[Standpoint Epistemology and systemic mistrust as resources for reactionary climate denial

The seminar session use Membership Categorization Analysis (MCA) to study how, in public interviews, questions to answer are produced and how these questions are constituted by a fit of matter, interviewee/category and audience knowledge. Climate denial exploits certain critical grounds here, by using membership-pairs – implying friend/enemy antagonism – in order to generally undermine the possibility of having facts. Climate denial shows as an ideological project.
